Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 200 g quark
  • 125 ml condensed milk
  • 250 ml cream
  • e.g. strawberries
  • n. B. sugar
  • e.g. mint, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Quark ice cream, suitable for the ice cream maker

Combine the sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, salt, bitter almond flavoring, quark, and condensed milk in a mixer. Whisk the cream until stiff peaks form and gently fold in with a whisk. Pour into the ice cream maker and churn until creamy. For the mirror, puree the strawberries with a little sugar. For the hearts, I let the machine churn the ice cream until only semi-solid. Then I place cookie cutters in the bottom of a sealable container and spread the ice cream into them. This sealed container then goes back into the freezer for a few hours. Press the ice cream out of the molds and arrange it on a strawberry mirror. Garnish with mint, if desired.
