Susi's puff pastry spinach rolls

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 rolls of dough
  • 450 g spinach, frozen
  • 150 g goat cheese
  • 125 g diced ham
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp wild garlic, ground
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s) for brushing
  • Black cumin or sesame seeds, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut each puff pastry roll into eighths to create 16 squares. Thaw the frozen spinach according to the package instructions. Grate the goat cheese and add it to the spinach along with the ham. Season the mixture to taste with herbs such as oregano, thyme, cumin, and wild garlic. Season with salt. Spread the mixture over the squares and roll them into rolls. Place the rolls on a baking sheet, brush with egg, and sprinkle with black cumin or sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes.
