Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Chicken with peppers and onions in honey
Wash the chicken and pat dry. Then cut into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Trim, wash, and dice the bell peppers. Peel, halve, and slice the onion into rings. Bring water for the rice to a boil with a teaspoon of stock in a pot and cook the rice for about 13 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the chicken in a pan with a little hot oil until cooked through and lightly browned. In a second pan, fry the onions in hot oil until translucent. After a while, add the diced bell peppers and fry them too. Once the meat is cooked through and the diced bell peppers and onion rings are browned, put both together in a pan and stir in 1-2 tablespoons of honey. Bring to a boil. Simmer for about 5 minutes, adding more honey if desired. Serve the meat and rice on plates and serve hot.
