Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 bags of rice, 8-minute rice
- 1 bag of whole grain rice, 8-minute rice
- 1 can of corn
- 1 jar tomato peppers
- 1 can of mushrooms
- some vegetable broth
- some butter
- n. E. Remoulade (gourmet remoulade), e.g. B. from Thomy
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
when things have to go quickly
Cook the rice in the vegetable broth according to the instructions. Meanwhile, drain the vegetables in a colander. After cooking, toss the rice with the vegetables and a little butter and let it simmer on the turned-off stovetop to warm the vegetables. If you like, add a dollop of gourmet remoulade or a little more butter. For vegetarians, this rice pot makes a quick main meal, and for non-vegetarians, it also makes a great side dish to fish or chicken. I always cook this amount for three people for two days. The rice pot can be quickly heated in the microwave. I always have all the ingredients at home, and this is also my “emergency recipe” when I have nothing to do but still want something warm.
