Fried mashed potatoes with homemade liver sausage

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g mashed potatoes (or leftovers from the previous day)
  • 200 g liver sausage (homemade)
  • Cucumber(s), (Gherkins) or beetroot
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Leftovers

Brown the mashed potatoes in a pan with a teaspoon of butter until lightly browned. Add the liverwurst to the mashed potatoes and let it melt. Mix everything well and serve with a pickle or beetroot salad. Instead of homemade liverwurst, you can also use black pudding or potato sausage.
