  • 125 ml Water or milk
  • 60 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 5 Pc. Eggs
  • 1 Glass Cherries
  • 1 packet Glaze
  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 275 ml Whipped cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Cream stabilizer
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Preheat the oven to 150-160 ° C.
  2. Bring the milk or water with the butter and salt to the boil. Add the flour with the baking powder to the mixture all at once, stirring constantly while turning off the hotplate. Stir until the dough separates from the bottom of the pan and forms a lump. Do not cook too long, otherwise the cake will be too firm and heavy. Now add an egg to the hot mixture. Now the dough should rest for 20 minutes. Then gradually stir the remaining eggs into the batter. Then pour the choux pastry into a piping bag with a large star nozzle and squirt it in a circle (Ø 20 cm) on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake the wreath for 30-40 minutes. Immediately cut the wreath horizontally and unfold it. Let cool down.
  4. Now bring the cherries to the boil and mix with the cake glaze. Spread the hot mass on the lower rim and let cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Put the raw marzipan in the blender and mix with a little cream. Beat the rest of the cream with the cream stabilizer and vanilla sugar until stiff and add to the marzipan mixture. The whole thing is now distributed over the cherries. Finally put the choux pastry lid on and dust the cake with powdered sugar.
