Ingredients for 2 servings:
- ¼ liter of milk
- 1 pack of cooked ham
- 100 g cheese, grated (Emmental)
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup of cream
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp fat
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cauliflower
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the cooked ham into strips. Clean the cauliflower, divide it into florets, and cook in plenty of salted water until al dente. Toast the breadcrumbs in a dry pan. Grease a baking dish and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Make a light roux from the flour and butter or margarine. Deglaze with milk, cream, and 1/4 liter of the cauliflower cooking water and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Now alternate layers of cauliflower and ham in the prepared dish and pour over the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C until golden brown. Serve hot.
