Honey banana waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 bananas, very ripe
  • 125 g butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp mineral water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Using leftovers for very ripe bananas

Mash the bananas with a hand mixer or a fork. Mix in the butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla sugar. Add the honey and butter-vanilla flavoring and mix. Finally, carefully fold in the flour and baking powder. If the batter seems too stiff, add mineral water. Pour the mixture onto the preheated waffle iron as usual using a ladle or similar tool and bake thoroughly.
