Pear slices with blue cheese, arugula and raw ham

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pear(s), small, ripe, but firm
  • 20 g butter
  • 2 tsp fruit vinegar (pear vinegar)
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard, grainy
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g blue cheese, mild
  • 18 small arugula leaves
  • 6 slices of raw ham, e.g. Serrano

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

Quantity for six pieces

Peel the pear, remove the stem and core, and cut the flesh into six wedges. Heat the butter in a pan and sauté the pear wedges over low heat. Add the vinegar and mustard, toss the pear on all sides, and season with salt and pepper. The pear should still have some bite. Remove from the pan and let cool. Cut the cheese into six strips, wash the arugula, and dry thoroughly. Place a pear wedge, a strip of cheese, and three arugula leaves on each slice of ham, roll up, and secure each with a wooden skewer.
