Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 rolls
  • 500 g Mett (pork)
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pitted, use only the firm flesh
  • 4 m.-large mushrooms, fresh
  • 200 g grated cheese for gratinating
  • 1 tbsp mustard (grainy Dijon or sweet mustard)
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Peel and chop the onions. Deseed the tomatoes and dice the firm flesh. Brush the mushrooms dry and dice them. Peel and chop the garlic. Knead the mixture with the mustard, breadcrumbs, and minced meat, then season to taste. Halve the rolls, hollow them out, and spread the minced meat mixture on each half. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at approximately 190°C on the middle rack for approximately 15 to 25 minutes (the exact baking time cannot be determined precisely, as it depends on the oven). The rolls are ready when the cheese is golden brown. Serve hot.
