Potato-Apple Casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 2 apples
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 100 g cream
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • Sunflower seeds
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and wash the potatoes, slice them, and boil for about 3 minutes. Peel and slice the apples, and trim and slice the leeks. Layer everything in a casserole dish in a scallop shape, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Once everything is layered, pour on the cream and sprinkle with the grated cheese and sunflower seeds. Bake the whole thing in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes. Serve with whole-grain or brown bread. Meat lovers can also garnish each scallop with slices of salami, but use less salt when seasoning.
