Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g pasta (spelt wholemeal fusilli)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 can cherry tomatoes, 400 g
- 1 tsp oregano
- 100 g Halloumi, diced
- 100 g chickpeas
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Finely dice the garlic and onion. Heat the olive oil. Sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Deglaze with the cherry tomatoes. Add the oregano and simmer for about 20-30 minutes. Add the diced halloumi and chickpeas. Heat through and season with salt and pepper. Sugar is not necessary, as the tomatoes will be simmering for a long time.
