Asparagus pie

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 500 g asparagus
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 ml milk
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the puff pastry in a dish and trim off any excess. Cook the asparagus as usual, then chop it into small pieces. Chop the ham as well. Alternate the asparagus and ham in the dish, then sprinkle with the cheese. Whisk the milk with both eggs and pour over the dish. Cut the remaining, trimmed puff pastry into strips and place diagonally on the dish. Brush with egg yolk. Bake at 220°C for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley to finish.
