Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 125 g bacon cubes
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 2 bulb(s)
  • some cinnamon
  • some sugar
  • some vinegar (lemon vinegar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

sweet tart with a savory note

Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator to allow it to come to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan). Fry the bacon in a pan without fat. Season the crème fraîche with cinnamon, sugar, and a little lemon vinegar. Cut the pears into bite-sized pieces. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and spread the crème fraîche mixture on top. Leave a 2 cm border for later folding. Spread the pears and the fried bacon over the pastry and fold up the overhanging edge. Leave in the hot oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on the desired brownness, I also add the broiler at the end.
