Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 50 g fried onions
  • 50 g bacon cubes
  • 1 packet of baking powder

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

easy and fast

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) (180°C fan/convection oven). Combine the flour with the baking powder and mix with the salt and milk (best done with a spatula or a wooden spoon). Finally, stir in the fried onions and bacon. Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 40 minutes at 200°C (400°F). Perfect for a barbecue, for example, and the ingredients can be varied.
