Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg pork (belly meat, lean)
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 250 ml water
- 250 ml white wine
- 250 g shallot(s)
- 3 carrots
- 500 g potatoes

- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 125 g ham, cooked
- 125 g veal, cooked
- 30 g breadcrumbs
- 1 egg(s)
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tbsp jam (orange jam)
- 100 g mushrooms
Instructions

Mince the ham and veal and mix with the breadcrumbs, egg, spices, crushed garlic clove, Worcestershire sauce, marmalade, and thinly sliced mushrooms. Stuff the pork belly with the mixture, roll it up, and wrap it with sausage twine. Heat the oil in a pan, add the meat, brown it, and pour in 125 ml water and 125 ml wine. Season with salt, cover, and braise the meat for 45 minutes. Peel the onions and potatoes, and grate the carrots. Finely chop the potatoes and carrots and add them to the meat along with the onions, salt, pepper, and crushed garlic clove. Pour in the remaining liquid and braise the dish for another 45 minutes. Enjoy with a beer.
