Almond Corner

The perfect almond corner recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Kneading dough
  • 150 g Flour
  • 0,5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 65 gr Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 65 gr Butter
  • 65 gr Topping
  • 100 gr Butter
  • 100 gr Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Apricot jam
  • 200 g Half-Ground / half-chopped almonds
  • 200 gr Chocolate, bittersweet
  1. Knead the ingredients for the kneading dough into a smooth dough. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and roll out. Spread the apricot jam on top
  1. Boil the ingredients for the topping except for the almonds in a saucepan. Add the almonds and let them cool. Then spread the apricot jam on the floor.
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees and slide the tray into the oven for 25 minutes, cut into triangles while still warm and let cool. When the corners have cooled down completely, do not dip them in chocolate until the next day. Now on the Advent plate and enjoy
  1. This recipe can also be made with nuts. Then replace the almonds with nuts. If you want the corners bigger just cut bigger corners.
