Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 6 peach(s)
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- ¼ tsp curry, hot
- 1 tsp salt
- 50 g brown sugar
- 100 g white sugar
- 100 ml white wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Place the peaches in hot (boiling) water and immediately in ice water and peel them. If the peaches are firm, you can peel the skin thinly with a sharp knife. Peel the onion and cut both into fine, even-sized cubes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the peaches, sugar, and white wine vinegar, and simmer for 3 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients and spices to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste. Use a hand blender to make the mixture a little creamy, but leave some chunks. Then simmer until slightly creamy and fill into sterilized jars. Seal immediately, turn upside down, and turn back upside down when cool. Shelf life: Approximately 6 months to 1 year. Use: With all types of meat, especially grilled meats, cold roasts, or simply on bread.
