not too sweet, but tasty
For the dough, mix the flour, yeast, and sweetener well in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the center and add 110 ml of cold water. Add the margarine and knead into a dough using the dough hook of a hand mixer. Then knead the dough again vigorously with your hands on a floured work surface. Return to the bowl and, covered with a kitchen towel, let it rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Peel and core the apples and cut into small pieces. Cook the apple pieces in a saucepan with 6 tablespoons of water and sweetener until puree. Add the marzipan and cinnamon. Divide the dough into eight equal pieces and roll out into very thin circles about 15 cm in diameter. Place the filling on the dough (1 tablespoon per pastry case). Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg and fold them shut. Brush the pastry cases with the beaten egg and sprinkle with almonds. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for 20 minutes.
