The perfect apple muffins with cinnamon crumble recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 medium-sized Lemon
- 1 pinch Salt
- 120 g Butter
- 125 g Sugar
- 2 g Eggs
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 230 g Apples
- 230 g Cinnamon
- 230 g Cocoa powder
- Squeeze the lemon, peel the apples and cut into cubes. (230 g apples should be after dicing)
- Beat eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Then mix in flour, baking powder, lemon juice and a little salt. Finally add the diced apples.
- Mix half of the dough with a little cocoa powder. (Cocoa powder if you like) Now fill the muffin paper molds with the batter about 3/4 full per mold, then add cinnamon crumbles on top and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. (I use convection)
- Preparation of the crumble: 80 grams of sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour (heaped), 1.5 tablespoons of butter, 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of cinnamon. Knead the whole thing until sprinkles are formed.
