Slice the peeled and trimmed apples. Marinate with lemon juice, rum, cinnamon, and sugar. For the butter crumbs, melt 70g of butter in a pan, add the breadcrumbs, and lightly toast. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Spread a tea towel and place the strudel dough on top. Spread a thin layer of melted butter between each strudel sheet and place them on top of each other. Spread half of the butter crumbs over about a third of the surface, then add half of the apples. Fold in the sides of the strudel and roll up. Repeat with the second strudel. Place in a greased baking dish and brush with the remaining melted butter. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
