Apricot Dumplings Made from Potted Batter

The perfect apricot dumplings made from potted batter recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Egg
  • 140 g Flour smooth
  • 250 g Lean curd
  • 70 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 6 Pc. Apricots
  • 6 Pc. Sugar cubes
  • Butter and breadcrumbs
  1. Mix the butter with the egg until fluffy, then knead in the curd cheese, flour and salt. Core the apricots and add a lump of sugar. Divide the finished dough into 6 parts with floured hands and press flat with it to cover the apricots. The dumplings in plenty of salted water Cook gently for about 15 minutes, in the meantime toast the breadcrumbs with butter and toss the finished dumplings in them. Sprinkle with icing sugar or cinnamon sugar before serving.
