Asian noodle stir-fry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g turkey schnitzel
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp five-spice powder
  • 500 g leek
  • 4 carrots
  • 100 g glass noodles
  • some oil
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the turkey cutlets into thin strips. Combine the sambal oelek with the oyster sauce and five-spice powder, mix with the meat strips, and let them marinate briefly. Cut the leek and carrots into strips. Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan. First, stir-fry the meat with the spiced marinade for about 2 minutes, then remove the meat. Add the vegetable strips to the wok and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Then add the meat strips back in, cook everything for about 2 minutes, stirring, and season with salt. Prepare the glass noodles according to the package instructions and stir into the meat and vegetable mixture.
