Asian-style rice with leek

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 jar rice
  • 2 glasses of water
  • ½ bunch of spring onions
  • some ginger root
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 tsp five-spice powder, or coriander, cinnamon and curry
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt, pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Paprika powder
  • Parsley
  • ½ jar soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cover and cook the rice. Briefly sauté the leek, ginger, garlic, and young onions in the pan and immediately deglaze with a little water. Add the cooked rice. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and seasonings to taste and simmer for about 5 minutes.
