Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g goat’s cheese
- 1 cube of fresh yeast
- e.g. olive oil
- some rosemary, fresh
- 750 g flour
- Salt
- 300 ml water
- 1 bunch of green asparagus
- 2 tbsp sugar
- possibly grease for the tray
- some honey, if necessary
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes
For the dough, mix the flour, yeast, and water with 5 tablespoons of olive oil and the chopped rosemary and let it rise for about 1 hour. Then press the dough onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet—it’s okay if you leave indentations from your fingers—and top with green asparagus and the goat’s cheese. Sprinkle a few rosemary sprigs over the dough and drizzle generously with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. If you like, you can drizzle the focaccia with a little honey after baking. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLiD_cdiIds&list=PLJkQtqi406ubG7ciOv7vipgeJ-lNiocjc&index=2
