Baked apple pan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 large apples, soft/sweet
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 50 g raisins
  • 250 g spelt flour, fine
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 40 ml cream
  • some vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Mineral water (carbonated)
  • 3 tbsp cane sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Food combining recipe – carbohydrates

Make a pancake batter with the flour, egg yolks, cream, salt, vanilla powder, and as much mineral water as needed. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Peel, quarter, core, and thinly slice the apples. Melt the butter in a large pan and lightly fry the apple slices. Sprinkle the raisins over the top. Pour the pancake batter into the pan and bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. Carefully flip the apple pancake and sprinkle with the raw cane sugar. Bake for another 5 to 10 minutes and serve hot. Ideal for breakfast, as a dessert, or with afternoon coffee.
