Baked Malva Pudding
The perfect baked malva pudding recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Dough:
- 400 g Sugar fine
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 30 g Apricot jam
- 300 g Flour
- 3 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Pr Salt
- 30 g Butter
- 200 ml Milk
Caramel sauce:
- 400 ml Cream
- 200 g Butter
- 300 g Brown sugar
- 200 ml Water
- 20 ml Vanilla
Dough:
- Whisk eggs and sugar together in the food processor until thick and light. Then add the jam.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix with the milk. Sift the flour, baking powder and the salt, then stir all the ingredients again in the food processor to form a batter.
Caramel sauce:
- Heat all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Pour the batter into a baking dish, add half of the sauce and stir.
- Bake the malva pudding in a baking dish at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes on the middle rack. Spread the other half of the sauce over the hot pudding after baking. To do this, pierce the pudding with a spoon and let the sauce flow into it.
