Baked pork fillet

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g pork fillet(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 150 g onion(s)
  • 10 cheese (Gouda), cut into strips
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium hot
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Whip the heavy cream until stiff, then combine with the tomato paste, chili sauce, mustard, brandy, and cornstarch. Brown the fillet, season, and place it in an ovenproof dish. Sauté the mushrooms and onions in the fat for about 5-6 minutes and place them over the meat. Then cover the entire dish with the cream and arrange the cheese strips on top in a lattice pattern. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
