Baked sour cream potatoes

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 kg potatoes, waxy, small
  • 500 g sour cream or thickened sour cream
  • 250 g whipped cream
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 150 g cheese (medium-aged Gouda)
  • Fat for the mold
  • some nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and wash the potatoes, and halve them if necessary, depending on their size. Mix the sour cream with the cream. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Place the potatoes in a greased baking dish and pour over the sour cream. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan oven) for about 1.5 hours. Finely grate the cheese, sprinkle it over the potatoes about 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time, and bake.
