Baked Tomatoes
The perfect baked tomatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piece Beefsteak tomatoes big
- 1 piece Sheep cheese Bulgarian
- 8 piece Basil leaves
- 1 piece Onion
- 10 piece Cashews
- 2 piece Chilli fresh
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Dried garlic
- Chilli flakes
- Olive oil
- Cut the tomatoes in half, cut out a hollow on the cut edge, straighten the underside slightly for better stand. Place in a baking dish, as well as the shredded tomato remains. Salt the hollows and tomatoes nicely.
- Quarter the sheep’s cheese, cut the onion into 4 slices, roughly dice the rest. Halve, quarter and core the chilli peppers.
- Put 2 basil leaves in each of the hollows, put the sheep’s cheese on top, and the onion slices on top. Pepper. Mix a little garlic powder with chilli flakes and oregano. The onion cubes with the tomato remains. Sprinkle with the spice mixture and pour olive oil over it.
- Put a pair of cashew nuts on each tomato half – the rest in the baking dish. Add two quarters of chili and put in the preheated oven at approx. 190 degrees top and bottom heat for 20-30 minutes.
- In the picture there is steak and seared black sausage – baguette is at least as good 😉
