Baking: Lemon Shade
The perfect baking: lemon shade recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Butter
- 300 g Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon sugar
- 250 g Quark
- 5 piece Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 100 ml Lemon juice
- 150 g Powdered sugar
- Fat and crumbs for the mold
- Mix the soft butter with the quark, eggs, sugar and lemon sugar until frothy. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix with enough lemon juice to create a smooth batter that easily falls off the spoon.
- Grease and crumble a bundt pan, preheat the pipe to 180 degrees circulating air.
- Pour the dough into the mold and bake at around 180 degrees for about three quarters of an hour (45 minutes). Chopstick sample.
- Approx. Mix 15 ml lemon juice with a little sugar and approx. 15 ml water. Soak the cake while it is still in the pan and let it cool down a little. I used a disposable syringe for this.
- For the icing, mix the powdered sugar with a little lemon juice and coat the slightly warm cake with it.
