Baking: Mon Chéri Muffins
The perfect baking: mon chéri muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 50 g Couverture whole milk
- 75 g Butter
- 2 piece Eggs, free range
- 80 g Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla sugar, homemade
- 50 g Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 30 g Ground almonds
- 1 pinch Salt
- 6 piece Mon Cheri
- Melt the butter with the crushed couverture in a water bath.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy.
- Add flour, baking powder and ground almond and stir well.
- Finally, fold in the butter-chocolate mixture and divide the batter onto a muffin tray equipped with paper liners. (6 pieces)
- Place a Mon Chéri on each dough piece. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for approx. 20 – 30 minutes. After cooling, cover with chocolate icing or powdered sugar.
