Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g rice
  • 1 liter tomato juice
  • 200 g onion(s), diced
  • 2 green bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 2 salt
  • 1 paprika powder, hot
  • ½ thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bunch of herbs, chopped
  • 75 g cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Recipe for the Roman pot

Pour rice into the watered earthenware pot. Pour in the tomato juice. Mix the diced onion, strips of bell pepper, and zucchini into the rice. Add the spices, cover with butter flakes, and cook the dish in the covered dish at 220 degrees Celsius for 80-120 minutes, depending on the type of rice. Then, mix the sour cream with the herbs, pour over the rice, and sprinkle with the cheese. Then, in the open dish, bake for another 8 minutes. Serve with pork steaks or schnitzel.
