Banana-Choco Cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g butter or margarine
  • 250 g sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 200 g chocolate chips
  • 3 bananas
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Peanuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 12 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 24 minutes

Makes about 40 cookies.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel and mash the bananas. Whisk together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, honey, and banana puree. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, add to the previous mixture, and whisk well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Scoop out the dough by the tablespoon. One tablespoon makes one cookie. For evenly distributed cookies, roll the dough into a ball and then flatten it with a fork on the baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough space between each cookie, as the cookies will grow in the oven. Sprinkle with the nuts and bake at 180°C or 160°C fan-assisted oven for about 12 minutes per sheet, until the edges are nicely light brown. Then let cool.
