Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 tbsp, heaped soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp, heaped tomato paste
  • 120 ml water
  • 120 ml apple cider vinegar or fruit vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 tbsp honey or a handful of raisins
  • 2 small chili peppers
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

a fruity sauce with a little spice

Dice the onion and sauté in a saucepan until translucent. Stir in the tomato paste. Crush the garlic. Finely chop the peppers. Mash the bananas. Add all ingredients to the pan and simmer for about 30 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and puree it with a hand blender. Pour into a 500 ml bottle. Delicious with poultry or salad.
