Basic Pancake Recipe

The perfect basic pancake recipe recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Flour
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 40 g Liquid butter
  • 20 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 Pc. Lemon untreated
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. Finely sift the flour, add milk and stir with a whisk until smooth.
  2. Separate the eggs and add the egg yolks to the flour mixture. Also add the powdered sugar, melted butter, the zest of the untreated lemon and salt. Mix everything into a smooth dough.
  3. Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff and carefully fold into the batter. This way the pancakes will be nice and fluffy later.
  4. Let the dough rest for about 20 minutes.
  5. Then heat butter in a pan and gradually bake the dough into golden yellow pancakes, about 2 minutes on each side.
