Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250 g beef, diced
- 250 g runner beans
- 250 g onion(s), diced
- 250 g tomatoes, peeled and quartered
- Salt
- pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes
Sear the meat, add the onions and tomatoes, deglaze with a little water if necessary, add the spices, and simmer for about 1 hour. Cut the beans into about 3 cm lengths and add them, adding a little more water if necessary. Cook for another 1/2 hour (depending on the thickness of the beans). Check the beans occasionally; they can still have a bit of a bite, depending on your taste. Serve with boiled potatoes or spaetzle.
