Beer Goulash

Beer goulash

  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Can Mushrooms
  • 3 piece Hip steaks
  • Onion
  • 1,5 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Butterscale malt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Salt, gourmet pepper to taste
  • Sweet paprika powder to taste
  • 0,5 tsp Thyme tricked
  • 150 ml Altbier (Bolten)
  • 250 ml Beef stock
  1. Put the butter lard in a pan, heat. Pour the mushrooms into a colander and drain. Then put in the pan and fry well. Wash and chop the carrots and peel and dice the onion and garlic cloves and add, fry.
  2. Wash the hip steaks, pat dry and cut into small cubes. Put in a deep plate, season with salt, gourmet pepper and the flour, stir. Then add the meat cubes and fry all over. Season with paprika and thyme.
  3. Stir and deglaze with the beer first, then with the beef stock. Bring the whole thing to the boil for about 10 minutes without a lid, until all the liquid has evaporated. Season again with salt and gourmet pepper. Take deep plates and serve with dumplings, pasta or rice.
