our answer to fried Camembert

Roll out the puff pastry and divide it widthwise into 4 strips. Halve the Camemberts and cut each half into approximately 3-4 slices. Discard the edge. Cut the pear halves into approximately 5mm thick slices. Place the slices of half a Camembert on the front half of a puff pastry strip. Spread about 1-2 teaspoons of cranberry jam on top, depending on your taste, and finally place the pear slices on top. Brush the edge of the front half of the puff pastry, i.e. all around the layer, with condensed milk and fold over the back half of the puff pastry. Press down very firmly – if there is a lot of excess edge, fold it over again. If desired, press the edge in with a fork – the eye also eats – and use a knife to lightly score the puff pastry diagonally about 3 to 4 times and brush the entire surface with condensed milk again. Place on a prepared baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C top/bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
