Blackberry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp jelly, blackberry
  • ¼ liter red wine, strong
  • 1 pinch of Allspice, (ground)
  • Pepper, freshly ground black
  • some blackberries, fresh

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion, and sauté it in melted butter. Add the blackberry jelly and let it melt. Top with the wine and season with spices, letting it simmer slightly if necessary. If desired, stir in some fresh blackberries before serving.
