Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 kg beef loin
- 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch(s) black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- 150 ml red wine, dry
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 sprigs rosemary
- 1 tbsp pizza seasoning
- 1 small lemon(s), organic
- 1 jar olives, black, without stones
- 2 packs of tomatoes, pureed
- ½ bag of Italian herbs
- 2 tbsp cream, liquid

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
wonderfully seasoned
Wash the beef and pat dry. Cut the meat into small pieces. Sear it on all sides in hot olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with red wine, peel and press the garlic, and add the rosemary sprigs. Cut the lemon into eighths and add it to the meat along with the drained olives. Add the passata with the herbs, sugar, and cream. Cover and simmer the meat for 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Remove the lemon quarters before serving. Unfortunately, I’ve already removed the lemons in this photo. Boiled potatoes go best with this dish.
