Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 sausages
- 500 g sauerkraut
- 8 potatoes or as required for the pan
- salt and pepper
- Caraway seeds
- ½ liter meat broth or vegetable broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with potatoes
Slice the sausages and fry them in a pan until crispy. Add the peeled and chopped potatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Add the sauerkraut, mix, and fry for another 5 minutes. Add the broth and stir well. Cover the pan and simmer until the potatoes are tender. Season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds.
