  1. First, the potatoes are peeled, cut into small boats and placed in a sieve. Then they are rinsed and then put in a saucepan with boiling, salted water. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Then the potatoes are drained over the sieve to also cool down. Let the water drain well. Then come, put the boats in a bowl and pour some of the sunflower oil over them. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. And then, put the pieces on top of it by hand.   3. First, the oven is heated to 220 ° Celsius. Then the baking sheet with the potato boats is pushed in for about 45 – 50 minutes. In between, open the oven door and see. Not that they get too brown or too dark. You should also try one or the other piece. The schnitzels need to fry in the hot fat in the pan for about 10 minutes on each side.
