Brussels Sprouts Pan with Bacon and Vegetables

The perfect brussels sprouts pan with bacon and vegetables recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts fresh, 1 net
  • 100 g Smoked bacon, streaked in strips
  • 3 Pc. Carrots, peeled, sliced
  • 1 pole Leeks, leeks, sliced
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Ground turmeric spice
  • 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Prepare Brussels sprouts

  1. Wash the Brussels sprouts, cut off the stem of the florets, then the outer leaves can be peeled off better. Cut the stalk crosswise (because of cooking). Cook in salted water for about 12-15 minutes.

  1. Sear the bacon in a pan with oil, add the leek and carrot slices and cook for approx. 5 minutes. Add the drained Brussels sprouts. Top up the stock, add the spices and heat for a few minutes while stirring. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. This pan can be served as a main meal or as a side dish.
