Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g buckwheat flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 80 g margarine
  • 400 ml soy milk (soy drink)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Vegan, egg-free, lactose-free, gluten-free

The ingredients are enough for about 8 waffles. Mix all ingredients together and pour the batter into a hot, lightly oiled waffle iron. Remove the waffles after about 5 minutes. Serve with jam, ice cream, chocolate spread, vanilla sauce, or even powdered sugar. Variations: Add grated lemon zest, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, or 1 packet of vanilla sugar to the batter. Savory waffles can be made according to the recipe by substituting a generous pinch of salt for the sugar.
