Burrata tomato bread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 slices of white or mixed bread
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, colorful
  • 1 ball of burrata, approx. 250 g
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 6 basil leaves
  • e.g. olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Quarter or eighth the cherry tomatoes, depending on their size. Finely slice the basil leaves and add them. Toss with salt, pepper, and a little olive oil. Set aside and let stand until the bread is ready. Drizzle one side of the bread with olive oil and fry in a pan until crispy. Remove the bread and spread with the garlic clove (raw or pressed). Then place half a scoop of burrata on the toasted bread and spread it evenly. Arrange the bread on a plate and spread the tomato and basil mixture over the burrata.
