Butter Cookies Made from Rye Flour
The perfect butter cookies made from rye flour recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Butter
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 500 g Rye flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- Put the butter, sugar and eggs in a bowl and stir until frothy. Fold in the flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar.
- Knead the whole thing well and chill for about an hour. Then roll out on a floured work surface or a baking board and cut out shapes.
- The cookies are now baked in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 20-30 minutes. If they are golden brown, do a needle test to see if there is any dough sticking to the needle. Then the cookies are ready. You can now decorate these with chocolate or something similar.
