Cheese balls from the cake pop maker

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 300 g yogurt, 3.5% fat content
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 75 g butter, soft
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Thyme
  • e.g. oregano
  • 150 g cheese, grated
  • 100 g butter cheese, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk together the eggs, yogurt, sour cream, and softened butter. Stir in the flour, baking powder, salt, spices, and grated cheese. Spoon a little more than a teaspoon of batter into the holes of the preheated cake pop maker and press a cube of butter cheese into the center of each. Close the lid and bake for 5 minutes until crispy. Remove the cheese balls and eat them while still lukewarm, as the center will still be slightly melted. This amount for three servings is equivalent to 60 cake pop balls from the cake pop maker, each serving 12 balls.
