Chicken breast in puff pastry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 10 slices of puff pastry
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp curry
  • ½ tsp sage
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 ml white wine
  • 1 tbsp instant broth
  • Hollandaise sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, wash the chicken breast and pat dry. Rub it with the spices and then briefly coat it in the soy sauce. Brown it in a preheated pan, then pour in the white wine and broth. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Finally, divide the fillets so that each sheet of puff pastry fits one piece. Before folding the puff pastry, add a tablespoon of hollandaise sauce to each fillet. Brush the puff pastry with the egg yolk and then place it in the oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for about 15-20 minutes. Tastes great with potato wedges.
