Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg chicken feet
  • 3 tbsp, heaped soup vegetables, dried
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, Korean
  • 1 tsp garlic, dried
  • 1 tsp onion(s), dried
  • 1 tsp sesame oil, dark
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 13 hours 25 minutes

Simmer the chicken feet in water with the soup vegetables for about 50 minutes. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade together. Remove the feet from the broth and drain. Add the feet to the marinade and let them marinate, preferably overnight in the refrigerator, turning occasionally. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the feet in the oven for about 20 minutes. Turn them over once. The chicken feet are perfect as a snack or appetizer.
